  • Audit data: submitted URLs, generated report data, check results, screenshots, and metadata.
  • Payment data: transaction metadata from our payment provider (we do not store full card details).
  • Technical data: session information, request metadata, and security/rate-limit logs.

How We Use Data

  • Deliver, maintain, and improve audits and report features.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • Process payments, credits, and support/refund workflows.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, and service reliability issues.

Cookies & Anonymous Analytics

We use anonymous, cookie-free analytics to understand traffic and improve Faultry. We don't use analytics to identify you.

We process limited data to operate, secure, and improve the service, including technical logs, authentication/session state, and audit workflow metadata.

Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Faultry (for example authentication, infrastructure, and payments), and only for service delivery and legal/security obligations.

Report Access

Reports are private by default and are accessible only to the authenticated owner or via the report magic link. When you flag a report for review, admin can access that specific report to investigate the issue and decide refund outcomes.

Retention

We retain account, audit, and billing records as needed to provide the service, fulfill legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request account deletion via contact@faultry.com.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us to make a request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure.
